Altars

One of my favorite pagan altars was located at the pagan shop I visited regularly in Fort Myers called Manna Reading Center. In the shop (which was beautiful filled with all kinds of treasures, supplies, books and a coffee and tea shop) there was a huge altar on top of a blue painted dresser. It was filled with all kinds of candles, statuary, crystals, a spell book, wands etc, and it never failed to intrigue.  The candles smelled great, there was incense going and usually fresh flowers too. Something about that altar brought me to a peaceful place and the memory of it is vivid and meaningful.

Here are some notes on altars that I’ve picked up around and about. I especially like this list of decorations that you can use for altars depending upon your mood and how you can use your altar to help heal.
